Harbor Hall

My therapist here is outstanding.
I have never had such a breakthrough in my entire life without this place. I highly recommend this even if your not a drug addict, the only thing I wish I could change is how far away it is from the UP. This is not your regular run of the mill facility for inpatient, and or outpatient treatment. Although, I only had to do a few classes to chat with my therapist here I wish it was more honest to GOD!

I arrived at HH detoxed but still was beaten to the lowest of low from booze. Intake was easy, they take your meds phone etc. they do follow directions on script and give you meds as directed. I was in a room with 4 other people, everyone had closet space. It is a beautiful huge old home.
They know u need food and it’s a great cafeteria ! Scratch cooked. They know time to think is not your friend as such breakfast is 7 am sharp, show at 7:10 violation ! Punishment.
The day is filled with activities Dinner doesn’t end the day still more classes. Home work !!

This place is amazing they truly saved my life. Not only do they help you with your addiction they also teach you how to live sober. They are really tough and strict but also fair. My counselor Peter was amazing, he was able to make me understand how addiction works cause I never believed it was a disease until I went to Harbor Hall. Every Wednesday Ken brings everyone fishing, they also have a weight room, a game room and they do feed you very well. Like I said earlier they prepare you for sober living by letting you go do work with people that obviously have a agreement with the facility, you start by donating time then you are able to go and get paid by the people you are working with and no they don't make you give them what you got paid, you get to keep it all which you can spend at the store for clothes, hygiene, cigarettes and other items that are allowed in. But I'm gonna stop rambling cause I could write all day about how great this place is. If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction Harbor Hall is the place to go, they take pride in helping you change your life.
