Excel Treatment Center

Prior to coming to excel I had been clean for 5 years and then relapsed. Having had a lot of experience going to treatment trying everything from out patient to long term in patient and sober living, I figured I probably needed a combination of the two because my circumstances had changed. I’m married with a three year old daughter and a career and that wasn’t the case when I first got sober in 2016 but I did decide to go to a sober living house that I had some experience with from that time period. Excel was a requirement of the sober living I went to (The Milestone House) and I’m very glad that was the case. The combination of group therapy, with individual counseling and progress based not solely on the curriculum of Excel but how I was actually doing, along with the family program really was the complete package. The groups were always a highlight for me because of the camaraderie and closeness of the community and the ways they kept it very interesting as far as guest speakers, events and activities. The counselors and the staff there really care in a genuine way that’s hard to describe because it’s so diverse. I was helped one way or another by every staff member at some point in my journey and that is not something that is often duplicated. Excel takes into account life on life’s terms. My needs when I first got recovery in 2016 weren’t the same in 2023. Obviously recovery is first or there are no other needs but they helped me to figure out a schedule that worked not only for my employer but more importantly to drive an hour home to see my Daughter and Wife. In my humble opinion the difference with Excel isn’t only the level of care but the level of how much they care. I would suggest Excel for anyone looking to find sobriety no matter what your situation is. I’ve already recommended a very close friend come here who was on the brink of dying and he completed the program a few months after me and is reunited with his family and doing really well.

Excel/ Milestone was one of my first jobs in the recovery field. To say they go far above and beyond for every client would be a gross understatement. Excel is great!!

Excel Treatment Center was literally a life saver. From the moment we called them to the moment our family member finished their treatment at their facility they were nothing short of incredible. Always helpful, warm, caring and with our family member’s well being at the very top of their list. If you are in a situation where you or someone you love is in need of treatment, Excel Treatment Center is an outstanding choice. You will not find a better place.

Excel has it all! Cannot say enough good things about the staff, their program, my experience and even the alumni program. I’ve attended a few events for members and the amount of alumni that show up is insane! Shows what a positive impact this organization has had on so many people! Keep up the great work!
