Erlanger Behavioral Health

My son was discharged today. He told me how much they helped him and if he ever needed more help in the future he would want to go there again. I would for make that 2.5 hour drive again to go back there. Also, they called and kept me updated and were so kind. Thank you for helping my son. Ya'll were a God sent.

Wonderful facility with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent location with parking lots of lighting and security. Would highly recommend this facility to thumbs way up. Love the Erlanger medical system and love Chattanooga.

This was one of the best hospital my family have experience during our crisis. We live 4 hours away but the drive was worth it. We do not have many good mental facilities near by. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The doctors took very good care of my son while there at this facility. We had a chance to speak with my son on the phone numerous of times per day without hesitation. This is so important because visitation was not aloud during this pandemic. The nurses answered every phone call and answered questions adequately. The doctor also kept us informed about my son status and discharge and he also returned phone calls in a timely manner. The discharge process was as plan and was done in a speedy manner. He also came home with all of his clothes I sent with him. He reported the food was great and the facility was nice and clean. The only opportunity that needs addressing is that my son said that he had to sit in group for hours and not being able to do anything because he is not a big talker. My son loves the outdoors and was sad that he only went twice during his stay. The other activities mentioned was gym time, rec room including painting that was very therapeutic, and exercising. If I had to choose a place to return, I would highly recommend this facility.
