What Our Patients Say About Us

Crestview saved my life . There staff is amazing . And there groups are amazing . Sean was my counselor and I can’t say enough good things about him. They don’t take oregon health plan or anything like that but if you have private insurance and are looking for a place to go here the best Rehab I’ve ever been to. I’ve been sober a year eight months now. It has inspired me to get my peer mentor certification and get out there and start helping people . Thank you for helping me get my life back and dealing with me when my thought process wasn’t at its best . Also, I don’t know if Stephanie the tech still works there, but she had a huge impact on My Recovery She was there if I needed to talk in a professional way, and she understood it really made you feel comfortable and like it was all possible if you just hung in and did the work .

I had an amazing experience at creastview! The staff was great!! Especially Ivana and my counselor Jen. I highly recommend there 45-90 day inpatient program. I was in a really awful place when I went in and it transformed my mental health and life extremely. I had been to another treatment program in the past and that did not even compare to crestview! Thank Crestview for everything!!

We have a loved one currently in treatment at Crestview. This is their third treatment admission this year, first at Crestview. The communication with staff at Crestview, especially case manager Sheridan, has been spectacular. The care shown to our loved one, including tough love, by everyone they have been working with during their treatment has been above and beyond. Yes, our loved one is doing the hard work but they are now seeing they can do hard work with the support of both our family and staff. A shout out to Kelley and Jerry as well.

We have been wanting a family session like the one this past weekend ever since the first admission at the prior program. The weekend was spectacular. Jenn and Lynn facilitated an experience that focused on not only an understanding of our loved ones disorder, but also provided an opportunity to gain perspectives from other families and persons in treatment. It was exciting to see my loved one engaged and interacting during the sessions. Our relationship with them has been positively impacted by this experience. My level of optimism has increased as a result. There are a lot of treatment programs out there and I would recommend Crestview to anyone, especially for younger adults.

I am the parent of a young adult who just completed RTC, PHP and IOP at Crestview. I was in touch with Ryan Opsahl, the Dir of Outreach, about 9 months before my loved one entered treatment when I was researching recovery programs. Ryan is a compassionate person who answered all of my questions during multiple phone calls over those months. His service level was outstanding - anytime I reached out to him he got back in touch with me right away, and if he did not have the answer to my question he either found it, or directed me to the person who could help. He shared part of his personal journey with me at one point, and that was meaningful, and gave me hope during a very difficult time. He also spent time working with my loved one once they decided to enter treatment, and advocated for them with the staff at Crestview. My loved one told me they thought the therapists were very good and they felt heard. They said they were able to open up in group based on the safe environment that was created. The only thing that could have gone better in my opinion, was the discharge process. Part of the program for me was a weekly call with the case manager for an update on my loved one. The case manager did not get in touch with me the last two weeks before discharge when my loved one was deciding on next steps regarding housing. It would have been beneficial to have a final call at the end with the case manager. Overall, I would say that my loved one received good care at Crestview, which has helped them make meaningful changes, and begin the process of moving forward in a positive and healthy way.

The staff here made an uncomfortable, upsetting situation, manageable for me. The counslers are on point and the program is a well oiled machine. All you need to do is trust the system and understand you need the help, and accept the help thats given. If you apply yourself, you will come out ahead. Medical staff, counslers, the director...everybody has a story and they are all willing to share and help you through if your willing to recieve the help. They will lead you to the water, but its up to you to drink it.

I came to Crestview skeptical. I had been to several treatment centers in the greater Portland area, including Hazelden and Cedar Hills, so my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of care I received at Crestview, and can report that it is the best facility I have been to. I started as a self transport patient in their 5 days a week PHP program, and continued on to their 3 days a week IOP program. I found the program surprisingly individualized, which was refreshing given my storied treatment history. The counselors are very kind and introspective and perpetually had me thinking about my situation in new ways. They also have an excellent medical team that helped me get a handle on my physical health, a first for any treatment centers I have been to. I would highly recommend Crestview for anyone struggling with drug/alcohol addiction. It has helped me greatly to get and maintain sobriety.

This recovery program truly changed my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. The staff genuinely care—they meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and never give up on you, even when you’re struggling to believe in yourself. The clinical team is knowledgeable and supportive, and the counselors go above and beyond to make sure you feel heard and understood. The groups were powerful, honest, and healing, and I learned tools I will carry with me for the rest of my life. This place didn’t just help me get sober—it helped me understand myself and gave me hope again. If you’re on the fence or scared to take that first step, know that you will be supported every step of the way here. I am deeply grateful for this program and the people who make it what it is. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking real recovery.
