About Canyon Vista Recovery Center
Things at Canyon Vista are different. We don’t offer a standard set of treatment protocols to each patient. Instead, we get to know you, consider your health and addiction history, and form a cohesive program that will give you the best chance of long-term recovery. We’ve been in your shoes, we know how you feel, and we know how to help you get better.

If you want a chance at real Recovery and a more wonderful journey then this is the place that you want to go to or take your loved one to. I had been to detox five times and each time I still got out with the mindset of using but after I left Canyon Vista I actually accomplished what I had been trying to do for over 20 years and that stay sober and clean to this day. The staff is all amazing from the therapist to the bhts to all the supervisors and the CEO every single person that works there understands and they are all about family reunification and encourage you every single day to be a better person than you were yesterday. Thank you Canyon Vista for saving my life and giving me a new chance at a better more healthier life. Oh not to mention I had my 38th birthday in here and was really stressed out about it and kind of bummed at the beginning of my treatment, until I realized afterwards that it was the best birthday that I had in my entire life! So if you're really struggling to figure out where you want to go or what you want to do, give it a chance. What do you got to lose? "Believe me," for many years I've been struggling with addiction and I am here to say I never thought I would ever get clean. I have only have a heart of gratitude full of joy and excitement that I was actually able to make it this far thanks to Canyon Vista Recover. I love everyone there.
Very loving and caring staff. Determined to help and provide safety for the struggling addict. I left Canyon Vista with a better outlook on life and they helped give me skills to battle my addiction. I'm very happy to have what I call my "New additional Family" who are supportive even after I left treatment. The last picture is me in active addiction on my way to Canyon Vista
Spent 6 days on the detox side this past March (3/2024). Overall the experience was a good one, so I am giving a 4/5 stars.
Staff was very helpful and cheerful from the start. Some nicer and more helpful then others of course. Love the older dude that would give us candy and watch movies with us for 5min or so before he went back on protrol.
Food was okay, but not great and there were plenty of little snacks provided as well to hold you over between meals.
There was one TV in the common area for everyone to share which had Netflix, YouTube and other streaming platforms. THIS IS PRETTY MUCH ALL I DID. Me and three other guys, just chilled and watch movies and watched music videos. Really helped the time fly by.
The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 was due to the overall cleanliness. Rooms were clean upon arrival. However, it was really on us to keep the house clean and with so many struggeling to come down/off it proved difficult. "House keeping" came through for the most part, but they missed allot. For whatever reason they didnt show up over the weekend and the floors got grimy. Mentioned it to someone who actually mopped for us. (BELOW DUDES PAY GRADE, HOWEVER, SUPER COOL OF DUDE). Couches and chairs were a little funky from all the fetinol sweat. However, in their defense, it is the detox side. Nothing a extra sheet couldn't remedy.
First time in rehab, however, allot of people had been here and other places before and most said this was the better of the detox places in thr valley.
4 days from 30 day and I get to return as alumni. Not fully sure what that means, but I will be checking.
I am more that grateful for this amazing place. The staff is awesome and the houses are beautiful. The food is great. Beds are comfortable. The groups and therapy were extremely beneficial to me. This place has saved my life and helped show me how to live again. I will forever be in debt to this place for the things they have provided for me. Highly recommend to anybody that is able to go here. I had an amazing experience.
I went here April 2023, it was my second residential treatment facility. Intake wasn't horrible thanks to Scott and the night nurse. Detox/res had plenty of snacks for the days you can't handle full meals. The nurses are phenomenal and know wth they're doing. As well as the BHT's. Clean facility with people who take the time and notice your strengths and help thru the character defects. Eric and other "higher ups" help in many ways as well. The Alumni program is a God sent. I'm sure most places might have one but this Alumni has something special going on! Programming during residential isn't overwhelming. They have H&I come in four days a week. This program also offers a trip to Spirit Mountain every Saturday along with yoga and exercise instructor twice a week. Church services offered most Sundays. Family and friends are able to visit every Sunday and nightly phone hours to those on the res side. Renee, Michelle, Clayton, Scott, Bri, Dave (Rip), Karen, John, Metta, Laura, Ian and others were the reasons I found my faith again. God works thru these people and I'm beyond grateful they believe in me!
