What Our Patients Say About Us

I had a wonderful experience with Bradford Health in Madison. I've attempted rehab several times through the VA and haven't ever received the level of care as I did here. Their knowledge of addiction is excellent. In addition, their willingness and motivation to teach patients about the disease is unmistakable. The majority of Counselor Assistants here are in recovery themselves and put a genuine effort into helping patients based on that experience daily. I'm unable to speak highly enough about this place and owe my current sobriety to the amazing people here.

Bradford saved my life! The staff is completely supportive and they focus on teaching new, healthy coping skills to deal with the underlying causes of addiction. Bradford addresses and treats the whole person physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. They also offer IOP, continuing care, and alumni zoom meetings once inpatient is complete. Choosing Bradford is the best decision I've ever made!

Meredith Brown

I am very grateful for Bradford Health Services. The staff is very professional and care so much for people who desire a life of sobriety. I never had a community of people that focused so hard on helping people in need. Thank you for all your help and hard work to make sobriety happen.

My experience at the Madison campus was an amazing opportunity & I’m glad I went. Sure, there are cosmetic issues with the building because of renovations. For me, that’s a “nothing burger”. Be aware that the website photos were taken before renovations & they did tell me during the admission call that there were ongoing renovations. So, there are cosmetic “issues” if that’s important to you. They even offered me a bed at The Lodge first, but I was adamant in going to Madison. With that out of the way, I want to say that the staff was very professional with me. I enjoyed all the groups & learned useful info from every counselor. You may have to ask who your counselor is & slip them a note under their door if you want “individual” sessions, but they try their best to accommodate you with the short staff they have. They were in process of hiring more counselors while I was there & were training them. I enjoyed participating in recreation & 12-step groups every day. I made lasting friendships with others who “get what it’s like”. Coming here will make you realize you’re not alone in your issues. Uncomfortable things can happen in group settings, so it’s important to focus on you & the material rather than get involved with drama & other individuals around you, but it happens anyway sometimes. Overall, I’m glad I got this experience & look forward to continuing care.

I'm a 50 year old man, set in my ways. Depressed, worn out, beat up, left abandoned by my family. I went to private schools, grew up on a horse ranch away from city life. No cable, no thugs, no bad influences, what so ever. Worked hard every day. Lots of good old folks around. Almost a perfect life. Sheltered. I had no idea how lucky I was. Had an asshole step dad that was worthless. Took that one thing away from me that every child should have, and that's value or self worth. I could write a book about that, but Bradford Health Care, in a short amount of time, gave it back to me. I think my first night there was the first time I slept, actually slept, in a year. Before that, I would wake up feeling the same as I did before I laid down. Horrible. But this time was so different. The first day of the rest of my life, began. If I could have lived there forever, trust me, I would have. Still feel the same way, too. If you want to be around people like you, whomever you are, go there. It doesn't feel like a prison. It doesn't feel like they(staff) are just going through the motions. Nothing about this place makes you feel like a number. It's special. if you are serious, go there. If you're an asshole or a wanna be thug or just a dick head, go away. Go anywhere but there. Don't ruin it for the good people. They know me as "Sonny" and I have never been happier because of them.

My experience at Bradford Madison was brilliant I feel very safe after my father's death I showed up 8 Days later and I was made to feel very safe and secure as this was the most horrible thing in my life, I strongly recommend to anyone that needs to detox and get a hold of themselves to make decisions to go to their next place. Thank you Bradford.
