Birmingham Recovery Center

Birmingham Recovery Center provided a space for me to heal mentally, physically, and spiritually during this season in my life. Looking back at my time at BRC, I was met with 1 on 1 therapy, group processing, while being held accountable. I learned how to get honest and vulnerable with the help of the staff there. BRC played a pivotal role in helping me build a foundation for my life while healing from my past. So that I could move forward and live life on life’s terms. I’m beyond grateful for all the staff at BRC, they helped me in more ways than I could ever count. I’ll recommend BRC to whoever God puts in my path that’s looking for a new way of life. Special shoutout to Caroline who believed in me when I didn’t and who fought for me when I couldn’t.

Cannot recommend BRC highly enough. My experience there in 2023 was absolutely life-changing. I gained the tools I needed to make a new, incredible start to the rest of my life! My therapist Leah was knowledgeable and helped me feel comfortable right away. The entire staff was super encouraging and worked together to create a cohesive, impactful experience. I’m forever grateful!

Birmingham Recovery is AMAZING!!! Absolutely everyone from staff to therapist is as professional, helpful and supportive as anyone could hope for. The facility is always clean and is always ready to go the extra mile. A special THANK YOU goes to Jen Watts!! Jen was my individual therapist and I was amazed at the way she was able to navigate my sometimes closed mind and bring things to the surface that I needed to discuss. Her hard work is very appreciated. Thank you to everyone at the BRC facility!!!

Birmingham Recovery Center brought light back into our family’s lives after our son’s years of struggling with addiction. He tried so hard to fight the battle on his own but thankfully, he realized the need for help and again thankfully, we were referred to BRC. The staff were so supportive and we wish to extend our profuse appreciation. I do not know all their names to thank them individually, but I did come to know his counselor Thomas and will always be grateful for his work with our son. He developed a supportive relationship which gave our son the confidence and trust to be open and honest in treatment therapy. BRC has been a turning point in our lives..

I can not say more wonderful things about BRC. From the therapists to the front desk staff, they are all amazing people who truly care about helping someone who is struggling. I read the reviews before going to BRC and everyone had amazing things to say, and now I know why. I arrived at BRC in my lowest point, I had pretty much given up on my life, and I felt like I was never going to get better. I did not have many options, and I felt like my life was never going to go up from there. I have never been to treatment, so I did not know what to expect. The staff understood this and were extremely patient and understanding. They work with different types of therapy methods and give you an individual therapist who works with you on your specific needs. My individual therapist saved me and gave me the space to heal in a healthy way. I am extremely grateful. The one thing I could suggest would be to maybe have different diversity programs. I never felt out of place or different. I just wondered if there were different programs, like a Spanish program since I am a Spanish speaker, I wonder what that would look like. That would be my only suggestion. Overall, I am so grateful to BRC and all the staff for helping me get my life back together. Thanks to BRC, today I have a steady job, a great relationship with my family, and I am finally free from substances. I truly got my life back, and I couldn’t be more grateful to BRC for working with me for the past 4 months to get me to where I am today.
