I made the decision to go to Beachside when I was at a point in my life where I didn’t feel that I had much control over my mental health anymore. I had three years of continuous struggles, and it didn’t matter how hard I was working with my weekly therapist, I couldn’t get ahead of those struggles. The moment I started considering throwing away 15 years of recovery was the day that instead of throwing away my recovery I called Beachside. From the moment I first spoke to the admissions manager to the moment I got dropped off at the airport to return home, I felt completely supported by ALL the Beachside staff. The numerous one on one therapy sessions a week, in conjunction with group therapy, really helped me handle decades of trauma in a safe place. I truly felt that all of the staff was competent in their roles, and without them, I would not have completed my program feeling stronger than I ever have.
The only downsides that I would share about Beachside is that, despite the name – it isn’t beach side. In fact, you will not get to go to the beach, unless you are in the partial hospitalization program and then it is only for about 2 hours a week. Additionally, there is no kayaking, paddleboarding or equine therapy as the website suggests. The website is outdated.
I cannot say enough about Beachside and the amount of help that they provided me. I feel grounded with my mental health, the skills and support that they provided me with. I highly recommend them for anyone who is struggling.
I had an incredible experience at Beachside. The groups and therapy are top notch, with real therapeutic value. Not just someone reading from DBT printout. Real thought provoking discussions. With tons of things todo to occupy your time and get out of your head. Molly, Sarah, Brian, Chris & Chris, Rigel, are amazing at what they do. The techs are there for you. And bendover backwards to ensure a safe, healthy, fun environment. Rochelle at PHP is super nice and is awesome at her job. I highly recommend this facility.
I just want to start by saying that I absolutely advocate for this facility. It’s the best I’ve been to, and I truly felt like I was receiving help while here. My only true critique is that they work on (remove and upgrade) the fluorescent lights, they give really bad migraines and can make it hard to focus. The staff is very kind, sweet, and you can tell they care. They’re as accommodating as possible and do their absolute best to assist you - within reason of course. They have excursions for you after your first week to have the chance to get out while you’re here. Plus the community of individuals that you have with you is phenomenal. And there’s a nice track to walk, a beautiful labyrinth to walk on a grounding journey, a pickleball court, and an awesome pool! I truly appreciated my stay here and am honestly so much better for it.
Beachside Private Recovery in West Palm Beach is truly one of a kind. Their holistic approach to addiction recovery and trauma healing was as enjoyable as it was effective. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, understood, and cared for by a team that genuinely goes above and beyond. The serene setting, combined with personalized therapies, made the entire experience both restorative and empowering.
What really stood out to me was the sense of community among the clients. The group sessions were powerful, open, and deeply supportive—helping me connect with others on the same journey in a way that truly accelerated my healing. It’s not just about recovery here—it’s about rediscovering yourself and finding strength together. I’m incredibly grateful for the transformation I experienced and highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking real healing.
Beachside is a wonderful environment that truly cares about your goals and needs. If you're in need of inpatient therapy I would highly suggest Beachside. At first I really did not want to come but I met many lifelong friends and really discovered myself. The building is clean and well cared for. The staff is lovely, and will accommodate you best they can. The pool, gym, and other amenities are very nice and well kept. I highly recommend anyone who needs a little or a lot of mental health help to choose beachside. The community is overwhelmingly welcoming, after my 30 days I was incredibly sad to leave and it's almost hard to understand I unfortunately won't be back. Beachside is the right choice if you're looking to do it right, I would do it 100 times over again if I could.
