Beachside Rehab

I was lucky enough to attend Beachside rehab for a little over 2 weeks. If you are ready and committed to your sobriety and mental health, then this is the place to heal. There are many talented and compassionate staff members and I attended the beach twice (thank you Christian!) The sound therapy and yoga with Jahmaal is a must. My intake with Reached was comfortable, nice guy. I give shout outs to Carmelo, Ozzie, Sonrisa et al for keeping the place clean and serving a lot of people everyday. also the nursing staff is amazing from the two Cynthia's, Alex, Aisha, Patrick. The techs are often busy of course but keep it fun and remain calm (Jametia- very helpful, Drew, Quay, Mo, Tiffany). Sonya has amazing a life stories and insights. So does Tamyra, Jason and Chris. Kristie does a great job of keeping you in the loop for aftercare alumni programs and is easy to talk to. Thanks for letting me express this gratitude 🙏🏾☺️

The techs are awesome! Mo, Drew, Terrel. Christian kept us busy with fun activities. The nurses were all great, but Christina and Jerry go the “extra” for us. Housekeeping team are all so nice and polite. All the therapists are wonderful- Elena was understanding, Ashley and s a great leader, and Christine was a wonderful trauma therapist. I had a great breakthrough with her. Kristie and Daisy, her therapy dog, are a great team. They bring joy to every client.

Beachside exceeded my high expectations. Beachside markets itself as a luxury facility and it is indeed that! First of all, the place is super clean, With both rooms and common areas being perpetually cleaned. Several times I went back to my room between classes to find the floors still damp from daily mopping. On one occasion, management let me know that the area rug underneath my bed would be damp because of scheduled monthly steam cleaning. As mentioned before, the food is very good, especially the breakfast which I would classify as “restaurant quality” The guests seemed to be an equal mix of men and women and the ages go from early 20s to early 60s. I would say that the median age would be between 35 and 40. There are those that are therefore substance abuse, such as myself, and those that are there for mental health so we all have different degrees of brokenness, with everybody collectively trying to improve themselves and get back on track with their lives. The staff is really great. It seems to be a fun place to work so kudos to management and the owner for creating such an environment. I was there for 28 days and never having been in rehab before I did not really know what to expect. Both the staff and the other guests were extremely welcoming and within a few days I felt very comfortable in this new environment. I learned a great deal about myself and my addiction from not only the classes, but the other guests as well. I gently butted heads on a couple of occasions with management and while things did not necessarily go my way, they listened and were very professional and logical in response to these minor issues. Met some great folks as well!

I can’t express how thankful I am for Beachside. The staff here goes above and beyond for the clients in every capacity. Shoutout to my therapist, Elena, who was my rock throughout this entire process. I also want to thank the nursing staff for being so compassionate, especially Cynthia and Aisha who made me feel so comfortable from day one. It is a clean and comfy facility that feels like a home away from home, especially with Daisy the therapy dog around. I am so grateful that I made the decision to come here and work the program. It’s not easy, but if you’re feeling alone and want to commit to your health and wellness, Beachside is the place to be. I was beyond scared at first but it has become one of the biggest blessings in my life to be able to put my mental health first. I would recommend anyone to come here! ❤️

Beachside is Great! I’ve made many friends here and had a wonderful supportive experience. They have great staff and therapists that can really help you life got on track. Moe, the tech is very nice and also Christine the nurse is a sweetheart.
