Bay Area Recovery Center for Women not only is a detox center but much more! It taught me that I can’t run the show by myself. I have to let other women and/or people be part of my life. Being Sober is just the beginning, for I can’t have Serenity and Peace if I try to live in a bubble. I learned to Love myself even more when I am healthy and helping others. By working the steps in every aspect of my life I have found that Connection with God and Others. God Bless Everyone and this is the Place to Learn how to Live!

I wish I could leave 10,000 stars. When I first walked through their doors I was a shell of myself. The warmness and genuine caring of the counselors at this facility is beyond outstanding. They welcome you with open arms and meet you where you’re at. My life has been forever changed. I have learned so many skills and am ready to conquer whatever comes my way! This facility is a true blessing.

If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction and want to do more than just get better but learn how to truly get and stay WELL this is the place. I didn’t know what to expect from inpatient rehab but it was not this! I learned about the illness of alcoholism and how to truly recovery here. After 60 days I walked away with a new life, a new toolkit, and the light in my eyes came back on. I learned new life skills on how to show up better in my family’s lives, and that’s priceless. The staff here is the real deal. They aren’t just counselors with letters behind their name but humans who have also struggled with addiction and recovered. You also get a whole community of people supporting you here. I love the environment and that I get to come back still and be a part of the next persons recovery.

This place is phenomenal!!!! My husband was in a very bad place and on the verge of losing his life....literally and BARC was able to get him in quick to detox in a safe place. The staff are amazing, helpful and have experiences of their own so they can relate to the people coming in for treatment. They make you feel at home with weekly family time to spend time with your loved one while they're on there healing journey. Joe Shipley is amazing he helped me over the phone and helped my husband while he was there. I can now say my husband has fully recovered because of BARC and saved his life as they have done with soo many others. I now have my Georgie back and we're stronger now more than ever! THANK YOU BARC FOR BRINGING MY HUSBAND BACK TO LIFE!!! I went through the Bay Area Recovery Center, and it completely changed my life. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery. My DUI was recently dismissed, and I believe it’s because God saw the change in me. My wife and kids thank you too — you didn’t just help me, you helped restore my family.
