Bay Area Recovery Center for Women not only is a detox center but much more! It taught me that I can’t run the show by myself. I have to let other women and/or people be part of my life. Being Sober is just the beginning, for I can’t have Serenity and Peace if I try to live in a bubble. I learned to Love myself even more when I am healthy and helping others. By working the steps in every aspect of my life I have found that Connection with God and Others. God Bless Everyone and this is the Place to Learn how to Live!

BARC House#3 has truly changed my life. I’ve recently gone through their impatient & outpatient program and folks, I’m here to tell you, IT WORKS!! The staff are a bunch of amazing people who care to their core. They share their stories and experiences on a level all of us can relate to and it moves us to read, study and open ourselves to others as well as on a spiritual level. I love every man there as if they’re my family. Every time I visit going forward will be a blessing to continue bringing peace as well as to help guide me to stay the course of recovery. Thank you BARC!!

Bay Area recovery and the staff here are a true blessing to the community and humanity, really. Billy is a person who outs recovery first and has helped our family immensely through the recovery journey. My dad has walked me down the aisle and seen the birth of all 3 of my children, with the help of BARC. Addiction and alcoholism are a terrible disease, but support from Bay Area Recovery means you don’t have to do it alone. They care and have always been there! Beyond grateful for their contribution to the serenity in my life!

BARC is a wonderful place. House 3 and the staff there were great. When the people that are helping you have overcome some of the problems you are going through it helps. The staffs help is from the heart not just a book. If you or a loved one need help with addiction. Give BARC a chance.

I started at BARC on May 15th. The groups are great, James has been more than helpful guiding me through the process! The classes are awesome and so helpful in the process of recovery! The entire team at BARC are incredible! If your struggling with addiction in any way, this is the place to go!
