Banyan – Palm Springs

It's rehab. It's not the first place you'd LIKE to be, but if you're stuck in any kinda of addiction it's the clinc you need to be. The staff for the most part genuinely care about their clients and the case management and therapists truly care about your addiction and recovery. You could list hundreds of things wrong about any rehab clinc but there is no better COMMUNITY than here at Banyan. So many different individuals with so many different lifestyles coming together to detox, have relationships started from one of the darkest times in life. Come, listen, learn, take to heart, and never come back. You can do this, and Banyan is there to make it as easy as possible for you 🙏

I cannot begin to express what Banyan Palm Springs means to me. I arrived barely able to walk as withdrawal was setting in. People, both staff and temporary residents would grab my arms and assist me to wherever I needed to go. I was embarrassed initially but everyone of them said “we’ve all been there”. So, can you imagine if I didn’t say this has been the most amazing recovery home I’ve been to and it’s not my first. So … the grounds are beautiful and meticulous. The rooms are super clean and stylish (unusual I know) - with comfy beds and good sheets, good pillows and soft duvets. The nursing station (open 24 hrs) is always listening to you and making you feel normal - which is wonderful. They’re knowledgeable and understanding and kind. The kitchen has produced 3 lovely meals a day with a complete salad bar open 24 hours. The temporary guests (us) have been beyond kind and good and interesting and absolutely respectful. AND, they come from all over the… Seattle, Virginia,,New Jersey, Canada and all of California. The staff … well this might take some time. Everyone of them are willing to help with whatever you need even if it isn’t their “job role” Even the cleaning and maintenance crew will help you of whatever direction you need pointing in. The counselors always have an ear and have a genuineness that goes beyond. The case workers are always doing they’re very best to solve the many problems that pop up daily - I mean going out of their way to do so. But truly the finest part is the programs and program structure. Terribly knowledgeable staff that teach yes the 12 steps but also what is your brain doing with addiction and what is your body doing with addiction. All in a completely safe and as I said beautiful environment. So, as I said I can’t say enough and I certainly can’t imagine having gone anywhere else. If you are looking and questioning … stop now and call them. You shan’t regret one minute of it. I am being discharged tomorrow and feel like a million dollars - they have signed me up for Telehealth and early morning Smart meetings as I begin full time work again - and I will so so miss everything about BanyanPalmSprings! Banyan was a God-sent for me. The staff and residents were amazing and I will forever be grateful. I was able to build a platform for sobriety in my 30 days here. I highly recommend for those who really want to get sober.

My experience at Banyan was A+. I was so lost before coming to Banyan. I needed the extra help handling my addictions and I made the right choice coming here. They helped me get clean which was the first step. The staff was all wonderful during the progression of staying clean and helping me prepare to take on life again. I don’t know where I would be without Banyan. Thank you to all of the instructors, therapists, case managers, and BHT that supported me along this journey.

Banyan saved my life! The people I have met here will be with me forever. I came into this facility not knowing what to expect, and I walked out with an entire crew of loved ones behind me. Staying sober, staying strong- with all of the tools Banyan has given me. The nursing staff is especially excellent, caring to our needs as much as possible. My therapist and case manager was also terrific, helping me plan my sober life ahead!
