About Banyan – Palm Springs
Our Banyan Treatment Centers facilities are woven into the fabric of the recovery community. In addition to supporting patients through the full continuum of addiction care, we carry proud accreditations and affiliations. In addition to being a Joint Commission Accredited treatment provider, we have facilities within the Florida Association of Recovery Residences, the STAR network, the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers, and support from the Florida Department of Children and Families. We are also verified by Psychology Today for our leadership in addiction treatment.

Alcohol not being by my drug of choice I figured a few drinks wouldn't be an issue. It's something that I have always gone back and forth on. Those few drinks did lead back to meth. I found the number for Banyan online and they offered to pick me up right away or in the morning. I said the morning. I could have one last night of fun. I had only smoked for a few hours. I called back and asked to be picked up right away. Past experiences taught me that this is my opportunity to avoid a disaster. Since I had over 280 days before that laspe and only hit the pipe for a short peroid they enrolled me in their outpatient program.
I had a great time there! Luckly I clicked well with the other clients and the staff was very supportive!
Being near a Alano club was a big plus for care after class.
The thought of thinking it's safe for me to drink alcohol is now gone.
If I had decided to use that entire night and not accept Banyan picking me up that evening, everything I worked for this year would be gone.
Life is going good and I have lots to look forward to. Posting pics of memories I would have not had,these are gifts of sobriety.

From the very beginning Banyan took great care of me mentally, physically and spiritually. I went in a broken, lost alcoholic hoping to find a reason to live. I left sober, strong, determined and dedicated to make my life worth living. Alberto one of the driver's for Banyan, picked me up in July of 2021 and drove me home November of 2021. He witnessed first hand my transformation. His genuine sincerity for my journey is truly appreciated. Banyan's facility was welcoming and comfortable. The staff were encouraging and professional. As a Veteran I found the discipline and structure of the daily activities, (classes, workshops, meetings etc) nostalgic. Linda, my therapist, was sweet, kind and attentive. She listened to our stories as a group and individually with authentic consideration and understanding. Teddy, the allumni coordinator was/is an amazing addition to the Banyan experience. His group time with us always put me in a happier and healthier mindset. Teddy's enthusiastic vibe was/is absolutely contagious. His enthusiasm brought even the shyiest client out of their shell. look forward to the Alumni meetings twice a week and the Alumni events that Teddy hosts.
Today I am 20 months and two weeks, 622 days sober. Since I've left Banyan in November of 2021, I have gone back to college and became an author. Without Banyan I honestly don't believe I would have been able to be who I am today and for that I thank each and every one of you.
I've enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is great. The relationships I built with the other clients was awesome. I do feel that the groups going on from 8:30am almost nonstop until at times 7pm or 8pm is a bit much. Only having two 10 minute phones calls a week was also something that I wish was different. I also wish there was scheduled times with therapists and our case manager. At times it felt like I had to initiate it, although it wasn't very difficult to find them so it just a minor thing.
I love this company, the staff has been amazing to me during my recovery process. The meals are the best part. If you’re looking for a safe comfortable place to grow this is the place. The community is also very strong, I’ve gotten very close with a few people here & they gave me a safe space to share my story.
Oliver is the best, he spits wisdom like an OG. He's always helpful, I'm not sure why he's not running the show except for humility. Mac is awesome too, he always goes out of his way for you, and his boy Jesse are always there to motivate you to push harder when you don't feel good while also remaining within the rules. April and Eddie are my favorite on the nurse staff, they always cheer me up and make me laugh. They actually care. Lisa and Warren are excellent spiritual guides as they encouraged me to pursue strength through my faith in Jesus Christ. Mark my therapist is awesome, I usually have a hard time connecting with men but I feel safe in his presence. The only thing I would have different at banyan is Tv's in the detox rooms. Larger food portions. Slow down on the intake process, and let people say goodbye to their families before taking their phone.
