Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Wayne

I had a great experience @ The Avenues of Ft. Wayne. Dedicated staff both nursing and technicians. All my needs were met & it was a blast. Im continuing my recovery journey to the next step, which is PHP , and The Avenues assisted me in finding the housing in aftercare. Im very pleased and because of The Avenues im almost 2 months sober. Much love to Jenna, Nurse Ashley, Nurse Bri, Lopez, Lisa, Mark, Dana, Rita, and librarian Daniel. Also shout out Tara and Casey in the Alumini organizing. They provided me clothes when I had none... also much love to Stefany & Sara my group team..

Avenues has been the blessing I didn’t know I needed- they really gave me the perspective and tools I needed to quit drinking- the staff is wonderful as well- special S/O to Travis, Johnny, Rita, Gina, Tina, Dana, Gwenna, Anna, Peggy, Mary and all the nurses there too! Also can’t forget the kitchen crew too- they really feed us really well 😝 but all seriousness I went here because they helped my little sister kick her bad habits too. And it’s not just for alcohol- there are people here with all kinds of addictions and everyone is treated equally and with dignity, in fact a lot of the staff have had substance abuse themselves in the past so they actually can relate to what you’re going through. Avenues also helps you find halfway houses after your stay to help continue your sobriety journey- hope I never need rehab again, but if I do I’m coming back to Avenues ☺️

I am coming to whoever reads this clean and sober. Thanks to myself, my higher power, Avenues and all the facilities staff. I’ve had an amazing time here and it’s been a very long time since I’ve had an amazing time clean and sober. I want to thank everyone that I’ve came in contact with including facilities staff, clients, and especially all the new comers. Remember we can only keep what we have by giving it away. And the staff at Avenues not only gave me the courage to want, need, and desire something new. But shared their testimonies, back grounds, and their book smarts to assist me in my recovery and made it so much easier to come out of my shell, express my feelings, and gave me so many ways to cope with my emotions. I want to thank the kitchen staff for making such delicious food. The cleaning staff for keeping the facility clean from germs and bacteria. I want to thank the nurses for helping me when I first got there going through detox and making me feel like I was meant to be there, I was safe, and I could relax and get some rest without anything to worry about. And for everyday giving me the meds that I was prescribed. The facilitators are amazing in which made it alot easier for me to understand what was being taught and comprehend so I can apply to my everyday life. I would also like to thank the admissions staff which made me feel like I was worth it and I deserved it. They set up transportation and was at my house two hours later and mind you I was two hours away from this facility. So that says a lot. Thank you Joe for everything. I want to acknowledge the Alumni program for all that they do and for all the lives that safe and give assistance to. You have people check up on you daily and make sure that you good. They offer programs and activities once you have graduated to keep you in contact with others that have graduated, stayed sober, and live life and enjoy life without the presence of drugs and alcohol. Thank you so much for everything that you all have done and continue to do. You saved my life and continue to save lives everyday. One day at a time. One step at a time.

The staff and the medical team are phenomenal. Everybody in the groups support each other make it worth coming here. Travis and Lee are phenomenal, gentlemen.n You pay attention, and they keep you on your toes. I would recommend avenues of Fort Wayne to everybody.My goal is to come back here in one year and work , and I also want to get my older sister in here so she can get better and get to help she needs

Shout out to Gwenna and Tabitha for never letting me down and always supporting me! All Avenues staff is experienced and by far know exactly what they are doing they are amazing people who care a lot about their clients and where their future will take them!
