Our staff of alcohol and drug detox treatment professionals focus on rebuilding clients through each stage of drug rehab, from helplessness through stability. Our medical stabilization program and residential clinical treatment program have been changing lives for over half a decade. Avenues is a fantastic recovery center no matter how severe your addiction. I went to avenues back in July 2024 and was going to stay for 1 month. I ended up staying for 3 months because I could really feel myself getting better every day. I knew I needed more time than just a month. The whole structure of every day really helps give each client a sense of security. Knowing where they are supposed to be a majority of the time. They are also really good at giving you your time to recover properly. I can’t say enough great things about the staff at Avenues. From the head boss & clinical director to each and every therapist, BHT, and group facilitators. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at avenues and made some really great friends that I still talk to and see every week. Oh! And the food is Great! The chefs truly care about us there because all of them used to be us.
In addition to the facility being amazing, avenues Fort Wayne has a pretty big alumni group that meets at the recovery cafe every Tuesday at 7pm. These meetings every Tuesday have truly kept me sober.
The beds fill up quickly so don’t put it off. Just jump in and start swimming. I promise you will be a better person when it’s all over.
Avenues helped me get the tools to stay sober for the rest of my life. I loved all the staff they are so kind and understanding. They have comprehensive groups that really challenge you to think and a learning process and style that helps you to realize you can change there is hope . They have out side volunteers that come on for bible study as well thatbis really awesome they are not pushy about private space they are helpful with working out crisis problems with other individuals that are in treatment . Which we encounter since we are are helping. The groups are amazing and helpful which can get up from freely at anytime . They have an amazing kitchen team you will never be Hungry while you are here . They are accommodating on your medication and understand if you do not want to take it . I am happy I came here your case manager works hard to advocate for your needs and can help to Transition into sober living they allow personal calls from facility phones based on time here they also give you family time . Very considerate place much recommended 👌 I want to Thank the team I had so wonderful Linda Thompson and Tim and Tab and Jessi and Lee and Johnny and Margaret. This is my second time at Avenue’s, and I was welcomed back with loving and supportive arms from all the staff. They congratulated me for coming back and reminded me coming in for treatment is extremely brave. You definitely get out of this place what you put in and then some! I had the best therapists (Julia and Lee) and amazing case management (Melissa). The medical staff is always helpful and pleasant and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to meet my dietary needs, as I have a gluten allergy. I can’t say enough positive things about all the support this place has given me and the continued support that is available after. THANKS AVENUES!!!
My stay at avenues recovery center changed my life. They gave me all of the tools I need to continue living a sober life in recovery. My therapist Linda Banks Thompson took the time to really get to know me and my needs for recovery, showed me love, and pushed me to really get to the root of what is most important to my recovery. All of the nursing staff and techs are passionate about helping us through the program. the program is one of a kind, and I will be forever grateful for it.
