Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks

I am thankful to the all the staff at Avenues for their patience and dedication in wanting to help save my life over these past six months. This program is in a league of its own..and I hope that anyone who looking for a new way of life has the gifted opportunity to walk through these doors, because this was a God given gift I was rewarded. It was difficult at times, as it was meant to be. I had made connections with people that I now know and love. That love me for me. I am in a program, working the steps, and am living a sober, stable life. I’m rebuilding the relationship with my family whom means so much to me. All of this is with help of this program. Thank you Avenues:) It has been a humbling journey.

I entered Avenues in NH in May with the intention of only doing a 7 day detox. After the 7 days I realized that 7 days was far from enough time after spending 23 years in active addiction. I sooke to my counselor I was given an opportunity to continue my recovery journey at Bucks County Avenues. I have been here for 5 months and all I can say is that my sober journey has a been nothing short of amazing. The counselors, staff and house managers have been supportive and taught me many tools to use for the future and my recovery process. If you are given the chance to attend any Avenues you will not regret it. Doing the work and with the help of the staff it has changed my life for the better. I am eternally grateful.

After completing the 6 month program here and avenues Bucks, I now have a clear insight of my issues that held me back and a solid chance to maneuver through life sober . From the staffs genuine efforts , kind words, and dedication to help us achieve what we came here for. Sobriety. I'm forever grateful and hope I can remain in the community here at avenues! I loved my experience at Avenues. The counselors and staff are very nice and supportive. They helped me with as much as they possibly could. The groups each day were helpful and informative. The community around avenues is welcoming and fun, I met new people all the time and expanded my circle of friends more than I ever had before.

I loved it. The clinical setting was perfect for me, it broke down the disease of addiction and also made me realize things about myself that I never knew. Anyone looking for recovery should come to Avenues, it’s everything I’ve said and more. If it’s your first time in recovery or even your fifth, Avenues is sure to make it your last. I cannot express how grateful I am for this place, it saved my life.
