Atlanta Detox Center

From the moment I walked in the door of ADC I truly was met with care and compassion. Joe and Tammy did my intake and made me feel welcome. The staff here truly is one of a kind. I now understand what the gift of desperation means. Instead of laying in my room I attended as many group sessions, sat and talked with other clients and did the work. From what was my darkest time in my life I was able to feel connection, empowerment and gratitude like never before. Original and the client concierge team guided me along the way with my therapist and the nursing staff. All of the BHT's displayed compassion, commitment and were there to simply smile or hug me on a tough day. I am continuing to stay in touch with fellow alumni and families thanks to OG. He is my recovery guru and also now a friend. I feel blessed to be an alumni of ADC and on the real road to recovery.

Coming to Atlanta Detox Center has been one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. The staff from top to bottom have been amazing. OG & Charlie have been key players in my recovery and I’m so thankful for them. They go above and beyond for the clients and you know that they actually care. The nursing staff, especially Miss Raven, have been upstanding. My therapist Donovan has opened my eyes to a brand new me. I’m so thankful for ADC and I will continue coming to Alumni Groups in the future.

I enjoyed the direct care staff and the nursing staff. Tamara, Courtney, Thomas, and Diana especially go above and beyond to connect and make your stay special. My therapist was great, but I received less therapy than my orientation materials indicated. Case management with Christian was very adequate. Charlie and Chris were fantastic concierges; both their ability to inspire and their ability to make the experience uniquely comfortable was stellar. Original both took us to church, as it were, with his impassioned lectures as well as fantastic programming like walks, activities, and zoom groups. Mike and Monica in the kitchen made great food. I was challenged both intentionally and unintentionally by the wide range of personalities, but found strength and great relationships. This was a great stepping stone on my road to recovery.

This is a great facility with amazing people. They truly care about you and want to help. The kitchen staff makes good food. It’s hygienic and the clinical staff does their best to help you. If you are committed to your recovery they will align you with the right steps to help you further your sobriety. Thank you Atlanta detox for helping get me sober to better my life. Thank you OG, the case managers christian and ray, my therapist Donovan and the client concierge chris. Y’all’s encouraging words and great advice will always ring in my ear when trying to do the next right thing.

I had an excellent experience at Atlanta Detox Center and truly cannot say enough about the quality of care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff treated everyone with genuine care and respect, which made a difficult process so much easier to go through. The classes and group sessions were extremely beneficial in getting newly sober as well. I want to give a special shout-out to my case manager, Christian. He went above and beyond for me—helping with my FMLA paperwork, answering all of my questions, and always showing patience and understanding throughout the process. Having someone so attentive really made a difference. I also want to recognize the behavioral health techs. They were consistently kind, caring, and helpful towards all clients, and it showed that they truly care about the people they work with. Overall, Atlanta Detox Center made a challenging step in my life feel achievable and supported.
