The facility itself was clean, peaceful, and well-organized, which helped me feel comfortable during a very vulnerable time. The medical team was available around the clock, ensuring I was stable, safe, and as comfortable as possible throughout the detox process. They explained everything clearly and listened to my concerns with empathy. What truly sets Asheville detox apart is their holistic approach. They didn’t just focus on physical detox—they addressed my emotional and mental well-being too. Group sessions, individual therapy, nutritional support, and mindfulness activities were all part of the program and helped lay the foundation for lasting recovery. Asheville detox center truly helped me. I came here so anxious and on benzodiazepines that I had been on for 5 years and they got me off them in a week. The behavioral health techs are so amazing and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone at anytime for anything. They are so caring and truly care about the people at adc. The nursing staff is amazing. I loved being able to hangout with the techs too and talk to them. They always calmed me down. Chasity is so amazing and understanding and same for graham. I love every one here very much and they are all true blessings.

I relapsed after almost 7 years of sobriety and kept using daily for close to a full year. I tried multiple times to quit using on my own, but I am a total baby when it comes to withdrawals, and I could never make it past 3 days. I hadn't been to treatment or a detox in a decade, so I was at a loss on what to do or where to go. Luckily, I stumbled across this place. They make the entire detox process as comfortable as possible. They taper you with maintenance medication, depending on your drug of choice, and provide a plethora of additional "comfort meds" to ease any other symptoms you may be experiencing. Here's a lot of things I loved about it: The mattresses are memory foam, they have pillows with varying levels of firmness, BHT staff will do your laundry, the day room has comfortable couches, every single bedroom has a 4K TV mounted to the wall and every streaming service you can think of if you just wanna get away and hide in your room, there's a day room with comfy couches so everyone can gather and watch movies if they want, they have lunch and dinner catered every day and the food is great, there's a seemingly infinite amount of healthy snacks and drinks, BHT staff will go out of their way to help you however they can, there are multiple excellent counselors/therapists that you can speak to anytime you like, they have 2 to 3 group sessions a day(I highly recommend the breath work one), staff is more than willing to help you set up aftercare, H&I comes in and does NA and AA meetings a few times a week, there's board games and corn-hole if you're into either of those things, Nurses are on site 24/7 so your medical needs will always be met. I highly recommend this place. It may be pricey, but your life is worth it. And this is a great place to start your sobriety journey.

I immediately felt safe and comfortable. Everyone was so kind to me, staff and the other detox patients. The space was beautiful and clean. I had a great experience.
