Truly life-changing experience.
I can’t say enough good things about this detox center. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, cared for, and truly seen. The staff here are some of the most genuine, compassionate people I’ve ever met — they treated me with kindness, respect, and patience every single day. The facility itself is incredibly clean and comfortable, which made such a difference during a difficult time. You can tell everyone here truly cares about helping people heal, not just physically but emotionally too. I left feeling stronger, supported, and full of hope for the future. I’ll always be grateful for this place and the amazing people who work there.
I had never been to a detox facility before and didn’t know what to expect, but ADC blew my mind with how incredible of an experience it was. From the first moment of my intake, the behavioral tech who did my intake, Sierra, immediately made me feel comfortable and I knew right away I had come to the right place. And I was right. Of course the first few days of detoxing are hard because of the nature of the beast, but the staff did everything they could to keep me comfortable and checked in with me to see how I was doing. After the first 3 days I started to feel better and participate in groups and the groups were so wonderful and helped me a lot. The BHT’s (behavioral techs) were all so kind and helpful and easy to talk to, each one took the time to go out of their way to check in and make us comfortable. Shoutout Chasity, Barbara, Gia, Sierra, Maureen, and Denver, the wonderful behavioral techs at this facility. The therapists, Brittany and Crystal were both so kind and helpful and smart. The clinical director Graham was amazing at his job and runs the facility really well. Graham (and all the staff) were so good at taking feedback and immediately implementing it to improve everyone’s individual experience. The food was SO GOOD. We got lunch and dinner catered every day from various local restaurants and I didn’t have one meal here I didn’t like. Most of the meals came with really fresh healthy salads and I felt really well nourished. For breakfast they provided cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, butter, cream cheese, jelly, peanut butter, bananas, apples, and tangerines that we could help ourselves to. They also had a bunch of snacks we could access at any time we wanted. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re thinking about it, stop thinking and just take the plunge. You won’t regret it!
I truly feel like this place saved me! Everything from the people who I now call my family to the staff, food, the facility all was great! I would definitely recommend coming here. For my first detox I could not have asked for a better place!
This experience I have had at Asheville Detox was what I needed to start my sober life. From the absolute amazing tech people to the counselors who did groups and amazing one on one sessions. I feel exited about my life again, and I am ready to see where my sobriety journey takes me!
I’ve been to asheville detox a handful of times and though the staff have always been so helpful and supportive this time they went above and beyond with support & i think it’s because this time I was present this time I was ready to put in extra steps and the work I haven’t before. Grahmn, Crystal, Chasidy, Sierra, and others; honestly the entire staff have shown me love and support like no other treatment center or detox ever has. This is another family to me and I will always be so grateful for the help and love they dish out. Thank you guys.
