Alcohol & Drug Detox at Hillside

By far the best detox facility in Massachusetts. The staff are incredibly supportive, attentive, and compassionate, which makes a huge difference during such a difficult time. The food is excellent, and the fact that you’re able to keep your laptop and cell phone adds an extra level of comfort and connection. They truly do everything they can to make the experience as comfortable as possible while you work through one of life’s toughest challenges.

Once you come here, you will never go to or suggest another facility. This place is a step above and provides an experience that opens the mind to the experience of recovery by making it pleasant, comfortable, and even fun; the staff are almost all in recovery themselves and go above and beyond to connect with and provide understanding to every individual client, and the quality of therapeutic intervention is essential to getting into the process of healing! If you or a loved one are looking for help, and feel afraid of the prospect of being in a detox/rehab facility, I hope that you can believe those that this place has worked for and give it a chance and I promise you will not regret it, from the food, to the rooms, to the groups and the people around you this place is designed, by addicts in recovery for recovering addicts, to center comfort and humanity, and it never fails to meet that standard!

Hillside was a great experience. They have a top-notch program that teaches you how to stay sober as well as individual therapy sessions. Their staff is very courteous, accommodating and friendly. If you have a chance say hello to Douggie. They also have great amenities (nice gym, double size beds) and delicious food. Highly recommended!
