About Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services
For more than 40 years, AARS has worked towards improving the quality of life of our clients. We help build resilience, restore and improve function, and support the client’s integration back into the community. Activities will be based and designed on established best treatment practices. Our trained staff makes every effort to empower clients in their recovery efforts. AARS is a licensed Level 3.1 clinically managed low-intensity residential treatment facility. Once a client is admitted, a customized residential treatment plan is created based on individual needs. Our treatment program is a finely balanced program that incorporates the 12-Step recovery philosophy of AA/NA, the search for personal spirituality, reconnecting with important people and activities in one’s life, and the development of a healthier self-concept that supports sober living. Each component is supported through the client’s treatment plan and all services are available to all clients.
Mission & Vision
AARS’ mission is to provide client-centered quality residential treatment services to adults living with substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders from all regions of the State of Alaska.
