This facility gave me the best shot at a better life I couldn't even have imagined for myself from the start. When I walked through their doors, the admissions process was kind and comfortable. I was immediatley greeted and taken care of sensitively with understanding of the condition i was in coming into the building that day. When I got into the detox unit. My case manager approached me and immediately began the process of evaluating my situation and developing the best plan of action for me. She provided great resources, and very excellent after care opportunities that I can see giving me the greatest odds from transitioning into my next stage of recovery; to getting my life together and getting back on my feet. Moving into the residential unit i was then swiftly approached by my counselors and staff to ensure I was transitioning from one unit to the next smoothly. After that the counselors evaluated what was going on with me internally, at what stages my emotions and feelings were in, and what coping skills and potential therapies would be most beneficial to me in my current life, and in moving forwards. Working with them to learn more about myself and how I work brought much of my long term distress and pain to rest allowing me to have a more open mind and begin to see myself for who I am rather than who I was and I can't thank them enough for that. The personal break throughs and communication I was able to make and share during group therapies was next level, their staff brings amazing insight into what makes us tick and how we can help ourselves over come obstacles In our day to day lives, the residential staff members who assist the unit with daily needs are amazing as well, they make the experience here feel more at home than in a hospital facility Their meal plans were diverse and complete. With an accessible gym available to me during this time i made a very considerable transformation to better better physical health,my before and after photo brought me to tears in the best way possible. The nurses here understand the needs and conditions of the patients and do an excellent job serving their clients here. Overall my experience here was above none in the state of Rhode island. For that I am grateful to have made the hardest decision I was always afraid to make, today I feel like a new person. I highly recommend Adcare RI to anyone out there struggling with addiction.

The staff from Chefs, TAs, Nurses, Case workers, Clinicians, Couselors, Drivers basically everyone that works at adcare made me feel supported and loved in my pursuit to sobriety. If it wasn't for them I dont think I couldn't of kept trying and kept my head up to stay strong to be happy and enjoy life. I love the adcare team and am indebted for all the love and support they showed me every time I walked through those doors. I came into adcare in the worst condition I’ve ever been in my life. 134 pounds yellow with very low blood pressure. Detoxing from alcohol and benzos. I didn’t think there was any hope I honestly felt like I was going to die but the staff from admissions, detox, and the residential were amazing right as I walked through the door. Ever since I picked up the phone to call and ask for help they have been nothing short of amazing. They gave me my life back. They also did everything they could in their power to make sure I could handle the real world and challenges I may face when I discharge. They have a gym great food clean rooms and bathrooms and they have an Amazing staff. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to get their life back. The food is great the counselors were great Scott and Nick completely made me feel comfortable and did All they possibly could since day 1. I had not a single issue with their program the entire time it’s almost too good to be true because there is hope it’s called adcare Rhode Island. I was in a rough place before coming to ADCARE Rhode Island. Things weren’t going as planned in my life and addiction had taken over in my life in a negative way. I felt a little hesitant coming to ADCARE because of the distance from where I lived in NY, but upon Arrival I was greeted by very nice staff members who got me situated and taken care of. First thing in the morning I had a very powerful experience of meeting with the case worker Scott I was assigned. He gave me the rundown of the treatment center, and suggested I make the most of the program. I even felt like I knew him, he was a very kind and caring man. He helped me along the way and set me up with my clinician Meg who was also a huge help during my stay. Upon leaving I was motivated to continue my recovery, stay sober, and make the most of my new life. Thank you ADCARE for being there in my time of need

I came to Adcare so broken from the moment I walked in the staff were wonderful I felt right away that they cared during my time in detox the nursing staff especially Alex was wonderful they made sure i knew what was going on every step of the way the counselor Amy wonderful the whole team in detox helped me get through the struggle of being here for the first time. When I got to the residential side of this journey whole team Karen Scott Jessa Paul Bill Lori and Lauren just to name a few of the people that were involved with my care plan. But I have to say everybody that I came in contact with here Adcare were wonderful I am so happy and grateful that this is the rehab I chose. Scott talked to me and made sure that I was set up for the best after care. Thank you all for everything you have done for me.
