Absolute Awakenings New Jersey Drug & Alcohol Rehab

So much to say, I can’t thank enough. Absolute Awakening. They literally changed my way of Thinking. Specially, some counselors that didn’t treat you as a client or a patient, they retreated you as family. Don’t get me wrong you go in the morning and when you leave you are so tired, because the only way to get better at least enough to understand, is to open up completely no lying to yourself. Absolute change my life and I’m thankful that it found me. I’m grateful for Brian , Patrick , Tyler and Anthony they help me a lot. Listened to me help me find my way and they will say No it’s you doing it, yes it’s true but if I didn’t have them guiding me, who knows where I would be know. Absolute Awaken help in many ways , had yoga, mai tai, reike, breath work and not to leave out Amy with Hypnosis omg all of these put together, was a good experience. But if I had the time, I would write more. Just would have loved to be able to go and see and speak to them again. Miss it and before I forget I did stay in residential and let me tell you the people I met are my family. We have create such a bond that we have group chats

Absolute Awakenings has been a true blessing for my family. They not only helped my loved one find hope and healing, but also supported us as a family through the process. The staff truly cares, and the program goes beyond treatment—it changes lives. We are forever grateful.

Today I’m 7 months and 11 days sober! I’m a 61-year-old woman who stayed at Absolute Awakenings for six months starting in February 2025. The first two weeks were in their residential program, a full-time, in-house intensive treatment option, and afterward I continued as an outpatient while sleeping at home. I had been drinking heavily for about five years after my separation and empty nest. The daily program felt overwhelming at first, but everyone there is healing together. I learned to balance the physical, emotional, and spiritual sides of life and to accept that I couldn’t control alcohol alone. The counselors are amazing. Courtney guided me through breakthroughs I never thought possible, and Nicole’s Saturday sessions were deep, practical, and full of support. The activities, like yoga, helped me reconnect with my body. Amy’s hypnotherapy sessions were unforgettable; I still join her free Sunday sessions (see Amy Arvary on Facebook). Family Nights: Every 3rd Thursday, Absolute Awakenings hosts Family Nights. This is a wonderful way for families to ask questions and meet their loved ones’ counselors. I absolutely recommend attending all of them, it makes a huge difference in understanding the program and feeling supported. No magic wand: Absolute Awakenings gives tools and guidance, but I recommend to also have outside therapy to address childhood or other trauma that leads us to harm ourselves instead of loving ourselves. Some areas could improve: a dedicated dining space, daily cleaning (especially bathrooms), fixing air-conditioning issues, and more comfortable chairs in meeting rooms. Hiring someone for daily housekeeping would help a lot. Thank you, Absolute Awakenings. This program gave me my life back. If you’re struggling with alcohol addiction, go in with an open heart, give it your all, and accept help. It truly works if you let it, and learning to manage your thoughts is key.

I am so grateful for this place. I came out such a strong person. The staff was amazing. I have been to 3 other treatment centers and Absolute was top notch. They offered so many different options & tools to use to beat addiction. I came home for the first time confident and not afraid. I am now 138 days clean from alcohol & still going strong. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone fighting addiction!!

So I recently left the absolute awakenings facility. I got to say, what an unbelievable program that they have going for them! From my first day checking in to my departure. Jamie ( alumni director) fabulous work during my stay and evening after care checking in with me regularly! Nicole who was my main counselor, words cannot thank her enough. She went above and beyond for me and also still been checking in with me making sure I’m doing good. She is excellent and passionate about her job 🌟 Courtney was my therapist, another fantastic person at their job! Our conversations were so smooth and productive, she has a true gift. My housing manager Maples, that guy has a heart! He saved me on a few occasions taking em aside and talking and calming me, he has a power to sense when something is off and I love him for that and his personality. I’m giving these people a shout out as they’re who I dealt with most. But, it’s not just them, everyone at that location was awesome, from the carers, to the receptionist, other therapists, everyone involved. There is a fantastic team build well and they all work great together. Highly recommend this facility for anyone who needs help. THANKYOU all so so much. I’m doing great. One day at a time ❤️
