My family and I have been down a horrific road with a loved one for a decade, in and out of facilities and hospitals. Recently we fell into the hands of the Retreat. A true miracle. The staff has embraced our loved one as their own, recognizes their mental health issues and is navigating a plan. The staff works with our loved one 24 hours a day and does not give up despite the most difficult challenges our loved one brings. We are so grateful to Heather, Suzanne, Michael, Keisha, the night staff, and administration. You are selfless, and dedicated to those with mental illness and you do make a difference. My experience at the retreat both times have been excellent. The staff are caring and the medical department is on top of your needs as soon as you walk through the door. I never once felt uncared for or like I was less than because I am an addict. Once I was through the detox process I was allowed on outings like the gym and meetings at night. No complaints about this facility whatsoever. And I’ve been to many unfortunately. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking help with addiction.
Retreat of broward went above and beyond to help a childhood friend of mine. He was in a position where he could not afford private treatment but Retreat helped him regardless. They are in the business of helping people that want to be helped. I am very grateful for the help they offered my friend when he had no other options.
